A street accident paragraph 300 words

Road accidents are a regular occurrence on the roads and highways of Coor Country. It claims hundreds of lives every year. It brings untold suffering to the victims and their families. Injured people lead very miserable lives. Our drivers had a tendency to overtake, road conditions. Defective vehicles, and lack of traffic rules, and regulations are the main causes of road accidents.

Every day in Bangladesh we get news of road accidents in our daily newspaper. It really shocks us. Last month I witnessed a very tragic road accident. The incident took place at Rokeya Sarani near the Agargaon bus stand. I was standing on the street for my school bus. Then I saw an old man trying to cross the busy road. As he was crossing the road, a bus was coming towards him at high speed.

The driver could not control the bus at high speed and it ran over the body of the unfortunate old man. Neighbors rushed to the spot and took some of the injured to a nearby hospital. But sadly the doctor on duty declared him dead. It really saddened me and I couldn’t bear to watch the scene. I returned home with a heavy mind and I could not attend my class that day.

Therefore effective enforcement of laws is most needed to reduce road accidents. And the concerned police administration should take this responsibility. The government should really come forward in adopting and implementing a long-term plan to solve the problem.
